Did Samantha really cheat?

Discuss

I honestly feel like the constant blame put on Samantha never matches the actual behavior of the people closest to the situation. If she had really done something wrong, especially something as serious as cheating, the Akkineni and Daggubati families two of the most influential families in Telugu cinema would not still maintain cordial relationships with her. In a society where divorced women are usually blamed no matter what, any real mistake from her side would’ve been enough for those families to publicly distance themselves. But that never happened. They still follow her on Instagram, Rana remains friendly, and Suresh Babu even supported her during promotions. That says a lot.

Meanwhile, Sobhita has never been seen at Daggubati events and is not treated like someone integrated into their circle. That contrast makes the public narratives even more confusing.

Another angle people rarely talk about is career dynamics. Samantha is completely self-made. Even as an Akkineni daughter-in-law, every major project she did was earned on her own merit. She built her brand from scratch and reached a level of success very few actresses manage.

Chaitanya, despite coming from such a powerful film family, hasn’t consistently delivered big box-office hits. People claim Thandel crossed ₹100 crore, but the numbers felt more like publicity-driven claims than transparent reporting. Sometimes those milestones get highlighted simply to avoid trolling or comparisons.

Even Nagarjuna once jokingly said in an event that Sobhita brought “good luck” because Chaitanya entered the ₹100 crore club after she came into his life. When comments like that come from his own father, it unintentionally reinforces how much Chaitanya has relied on “luck” narratives throughout his career.
