GALA YUZAWA: DECEMBER 2025

Hi, Everyone!!💗

We’re visiting Japan this December 17–24, and one of our main plans is to visit Gala Yuzawa on December 20. We’ve already booked our Shinkansen tickets and the activities at Gala Yuzawa.

I’ve been checking previews, travel hacks, and tips, and usually by mid-December there’s already snow in the area. Gala Yuzawa also officially opens on December 20, which is why we scheduled our visit on that exact day.

But I’ve been checking their website and the live camera updates, and it looks like there still is no snow yet — and it’s already December. 🥲 With our trip just two weeks away, I’m getting worried since everything is already booked.

For those who’ve been or have experience visiting around this time:

Should we be concerned? Is it better to rebook, or should we wait it out since weather can still change quickly?
