Aerospace Engineer to ARNP?

Hi all, I’m a 25 yr old aerospace engineer and while my job looks great on paper, I’m deeply unsatisfied by it. The work is very easy and under stimulating. I also have ADHD and Adderall makes my job more tolerable but seems wrong.

I’m looking for a job more exciting and fulfilling, that requires me to think and be more engaged. I’ve somewhat of a health fanatic always been interested in medicine and frequently do a lot of medical research on my own time. My goal is to help others with ADHD.

Any current NPs that can provide some advice? Am I the grass is greener effect?
