Like Harry's Madness but with genies

The other day, I was talking with a friend about one of my favorite bad fanfics, Harry's Madness. She claimed to have read an extremely similar fanfic, written in 2005.

This is what she could remember.

• There was a genie underneath Gringotts
• Like in Harry's Madness, there were elementalists powered by sapient orbs. However, Neville specifically learned earth magic instead of water.
• The plot promptly gets derailed as the main characters go off and steal magic from various sources.

It's likely as not that it's gone from Fanfiction.net, but I'm still curious. Has anyone read or heard about this fanfiction?
