Omnicom has exceeded their $750m synergies

This was from a month ago. John Wren telling wall street investors that they have exceeded the $750m in synergies.

"The result of our integration planning is we remain highly confident in exceeding the synergies we expected when we first announced the acquisition."

"Synergies. I'm not prepared to disclose them, but I will tell you that we have clearly identified synergies in excess of what I promised at the time we announced the deal."

Wren estimates that around 4,000 positions will be eliminated globally. “That’s going to allow us to meet and exceed the synergies that we promised the marketplace last December,” he told ADWEEK.

Hopefully with the synergies exceeded, that means no more unexpected firings
