SSD When should I clock in?

Recently hired as a SSD for my area, UPS warehouse is just over 30 miles away. Checked my timecard today and seen the little star next to my start time, I usually wait for a driver to drop off my packages that I need to deliver. Before today, I also had to wait for the phone I'd sign in on but today my supervisor just told me to hold onto it for the rest of the season. Is there somewhere I can check to see what time I should clock in or do I just wait til the packages arrive? Supe has been radio silent since I asked. Will the late starts be held against me? Sorry, I can see how much folks hate stupid questions from SSD's.
