F250 > F150 for a more reliable engine?

Question ❔

Thinking about buying a new truck here soon. Looking at RAM, Ford, and GM. I really like the Fords aluminum body, the looks of the GM/Chevy, and the features/Hemi on the RAM.

Looking for a 10-20 year truck. Should I buy the F250 with the 6.8 or 7.3 over an F150 to avoid Emissions, Direct Injection, and all the other headaches that these half-ton motors have? I don't need to tow, but for the same price as a well equipped F150 I can build out an F250 for about the same price with everything I'd want.

Thoughts?
