Shop continuity help

Hey guys! I’m now working for the family business which includes fabrication of dump bodies, plow setups, frame repairs, etc. The current set up for tracking jobs is clipboards with sheets of paper in the parts room. Our employees are having a hard time tracking job hours & parts used on these sheets so I’m looking to streamline the process to make it easier on both our parts guy for inventory and our girl that does all our books and billing. I’m open to any and all suggestions! I’m considering ordering ‘tough’ laptops for the shop for the guys to utilize to document their time and parts used. Open to all ideas and opinions as this change is going to be major for our shop!
