How would making a copy of an earthbended land work when it dies?

Since technically tokens go to graveyard and then state based actions remove them from the game, and the earthbend rule says the land would come back tapped when it dies, would the earthbend rule supersede the token rule or does dying imply it’s put in the graveyard and it would be removed from the game?
