💔 Lost Someone Really Close… And It’s Hitting Me in Ways I Never Expected
Have you ever lost someone so close that it feels like a piece of you just… stopped existing? I recently lost my best friend. My person. The one I thought I’d grow old laughing with. And now, everything feels unreal — like I’m walking around in someone else’s life. What’s strange is… I keep feeling like I should spend time with them after they’re gone. Not in a “move on” way — but in that painful, emotional way where you want to sit with their memories, talk to them in your head, replay old conversations, laugh at stupid jokes you shared, and cry because you can’t make new ones anymore. It’s like grief tricks you into believing you can still make up for lost time. I don’t know if anyone else has felt this or if I’m just losing myself in the process. But if you’ve been through something like this — losing a friend, losing someone who was basically a part of your soul — my DMs are open. I don’t want to be alone with these thoughts, and if you’re hurting too, you don’t have to be either. Please slide into my DMs if you want to talk. I’m a good listener, and honestly… I could use one too.
