How stupid would this be?

How stupid would I be for swapping my 4080 super out for a 5080? It seems like the industry as a whole is about to get a whole lot more expensive and I have the opportunity to purchase a 5080 for retail.

The way I see it I would be future proofing with the small performance boost and DLSS 4. I'd be getting most of my money back as well by selling my year old 4080.

Current specs are: 4080s 64gb DDR5 RAM AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3d
