Bushwick or Capitol Hill?

Heya I'm in my 30s and been transitioning mtf for about a year now. I feel a bit too old for wild parties, but just want to live somewhere comfy and maybe go on some dates. Some friends have recommend Bushwick in Brooklyn and Capitol Hill in Seattle. Anyone have any opinions on these areas?
