The Game’s Ending? Timekeepers purpose?

Finally beat the game. I still think the story was bland asf.

Yes I play for the story not just the gameplay loop of looting & shooting.

I assume there will be a Borderlands 5?

What is this war that future Lilith is talking about? It seems to come from out of nowhere.

Who will be waging war on the 6 galaxies?

The timekeeper was just guarding an omen? A crystal ball basically for however long?

None of it makes sense from BL4 or BL2 or I am forgetting something?

The story has gotten so convoluted. Like Metal Gear Solid confusing and just too much info to remember and retain.
