The year is 2953. Humanity has spread across the stars, carving out a new existence on distant worlds and asteroids. With this expansion came an insatiable demand for resources, and with that demand, the rise of the great interstellar mining corporations. But where there is wealth, there is also danger. Pirates, rival corporations, and unforeseen cosmic hazards made deep-space mining a perilous endeavor.

This is the world into which Keystone Security and Extraction was born. Mining operations often had their own security, but it was rarely specialized enough to handle the unique threats of deep space. Keystone would be different. They would offer not just protection, but also advanced extraction services, ensuring their clients got their valuable minerals out of the ground and safely to market, no matter the odds.

Word spread of their tenacity and skill. Soon, contracts began to pour in. They expanded their fleet, acquiring more specialized ships and recruiting a diverse crew of ex-soldiers, seasoned miners, brilliant engineers, and even a few reformed smugglers who knew the void like the back of their hand.

Over the years, Keystone Security and Extraction grew into a formidable force. Their black and gold emblem, depicting a sturdy pickaxe crossed with a stylized spaceship, became a symbol of reliability and resilience across the galaxy. They developed cutting-edge extraction techniques, pioneered new security protocols for hazardous environments, and even became involved in humanitarian efforts during interstellar crises.

From their humble beginnings in 2953, facing down pirates with two ships, Keystone had evolved. They weren’t just a guild; they were a lifeline for countless miners, a beacon of order in the chaotic expanse of space, and a testament to the unwavering spirit of those who dared to forge a living among the stars.
