Halloween Update Permanent?

Probably a stupid question, I haven't played since before the Halloween update and I would love to meet the sewer king.

Just checking, is this update (for the foreseeable future) a permanent addition to the game? Or was/is it timed, and I need to jump on it now if I haven't missed it already?
