AITAH for asking/expecting/wanting my partner to help when he gets home from work?

Hey! I'm a 32yr old disabled pregnant stay at home mom (I also homeschool so I'm with them 24/7). I'm also currently very sick with 2 sick kids...

This is the 2nd night my partner (33M) has come home from work and not even come inside before spending 2+hrs outside working on the car. I understand the importance of a working vehicle that is safe to operate. I have only asked that he come inside, check on us, see if I need anything, show some love/care, and give me a small breather before going out to work on it. I have put them to bed myself yet again because he already gets home 2hrs before they go to bed...so he hasn't even seen them... Apparently I am wrong for this and don't care about his safety driving the vehicle? I am a reasonable person and don't believe I am asking for too much...but he did it again tonight and is justifying his choices...He even told me to get on reddit and see which one of us is in the wrong...so I guess the question is...Am I the AH?...
