The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari Reviews

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari is definitely a really interesting film, and I can see why it inspired so many other gothic horror classics. I love the atmosphere — the crooked buildings, the jagged sets, and those mountain-like structures. Even though they’re clearly made of painted plastic, they still look fantastic. At just 51 minutes, the movie is pretty short, the story is straightforward, and the ending is surprisingly bleak. Overall, I really enjoyed watching it. 9.5/10 ⭐
