Extending Driver Shaft

So I've got a driver shaft I really like but would like to add about 1-2" length to the butt end. Looking up shaft extensions online and on Amazon and the reviews are a mixed bag. Some mention the extensions snapping on them or being too flimsy. Obviously those are worst case scenarios but obviously it happens and I don't want to mess up an expensive shaft.

Has anyone here had good luck with extending a driver? What extension did you go with? A certain epoxy thats best? Any tips? Thanks
