Best translation for Russian literature

Hi guys, I’ve been wanting to start reading Russian literature for quite a while now but I always felt so intimidated by it and now I think I am ready to start reading it. But I heard that the right translation can make a huge difference in the story. Could you guys recommend what is the best translation for the books?? Also, if you can recommend a good one to start with (a more easy and engaging one) I would appreciate it.
