Only certain lighting effects can be saved to on board memory, WHY? - G915 X and G515 Lightspeed TKL

I'm really disappointed by this. Last year I purchased a G915 X Lightspeed TKL and had numerous issues with the RGB lighting. First of all the lighting is one of the main reasons I wanted this keyboard, that and the mechanical linear low profile keys. So to my surprise the lighting was glitchy from the beginning. Issues I encountered

- Unable to save custom lighting effects to on board memory (keyboard would always default to some default lighting like G Pulse or whatever its called when my computer is booting up or when using keyboard with another device).
- the keyboard lighting would go to sleep and not wake up properly at random times
- when it did sleep, some keys would remain at full brightness and not dim with the rest, then it would wake up and the next time it went to sleep it would work normally

I returned that keyboard.

Fast forward to today. I recently purchased a G515 Lightspeed TKL and thought I would try again thinking maybe Logitech fixed these issues over the course of a full year. NOPE. Same glitchy buggy lighting with no improvements whatsoever.

Like seriously? What exactly makes the effect under 'Animations' tab so different from effect under 'Preset' tab, that they can't be saved to on board memory.

For example Ocean Wave can be saved to on board memory, but Color Wave cannot. But they are literally doing the exact same thing except with different color and in a different direction.

The same can be said for any other lighting effect.

Seriously I would like to hear the explanation for this limitation because it makes no sense whatsoever. Either it is hardcoded into the GHub software and Logitech just doesn't want to change it, or there is something like a memory size limitation on the on board memory or maybe a processing limitation on the logic board of the keyboard.

I doubt it's a processing issue because if the onboard controller is able to process and display Ocean Wave stored to memory then it should be able to display Color Wave.

This whole thing doesn't make sense. So thanks Logitech, I'm returning this keyboard anyway which is too bad because I like the design of the keyboard, but the software and implementation of lighting is very poor.
