why do i suck better than my bf (srs)

So my bf and i both have a weed pen & they get clogged like they do, and i am usually able to get mine unclogged easily (i just create a suction with my tongue), him not so much. he always asks me to get his and he’s always so peeved at how he can’t do it. would anyone be able to offer an explanation for this?
