Evil ex

Rant - Advice wanted :snoo_scream:

Hey everybody I was just looking for some thoughts on a potential situation.

I haven't had any issues with my ex for several years but there was a period of time where she stalked me online pretty extensively and made a lot of efforts to reach out to people in my life including jobs to tell them that I had committed crimes against them and other things. At one point I did have to get a restraining order against this person and pretty much as soon as the restraining order expired they continued trying to destroy my life in any way they could.

Well I had a ptsd/stress stream last night where she reached out to the licensing board to make a complaint against me based on lies. I hadn't even wanted to consider that something like that would happen but knowing them it very well could. I guess I'm just wondering if anybody has taken preventative action to protect themselves against frivolous and malicious claims of misconduct? I mean I even have an official record of a restraining order against this person and I'm wondering if that's something that I should submit to the board of licensing just in case if this person were to reach out they would have that information?

I hate that I even have to think about this but honestly I'm glad I had that nightmare because it prompts me to think about ways to avoid a really terrible situation recurring
