Rushing Colors

Emitter Quirk

Quirk: Rushing Colors

Mechanics: Bio-Electricity Conversion: The user converts their body's own bio-electrical energy (the same energy that powers nerves and muscles) into a unique, semi-corporeal barrier.

The Sacrifice: To create the barrier, the user must designate a specific body part as the "source." That part falls completely limp and paralyzed until the body naturally regenerates the spent bio-electricity, which takes several minutes to hours depending on the barrier's size and duration.

Arm/Hand: Common for small, focused shields. Loss of combat or fine motor skills.

Leg: Sacrificing mobility for a larger, stationary barrier.

Torso/Core: Allows for a full-body or massive barrier, but leaves the user completely immobilized and vulnerable afterward.

The Safety Lock: The Quirk has an instinctive, unconscious "Safety Lock" preventing the use of the heart or brain as a source. Attempting to bypass this lock is impossible under normal circumstances—the body simply refuses.

The Barrier's Properties: Pseudo-Light Construct: It's not true light, but a massless energy field that interacts with photons.

Prismatic Overload: The barrier automatically and chaotically reflects all wavelengths of visible light hitting it, creating a violently shifting, dazzling mosaic of every color at once. This causes:

Instant Disorientation: The visual cortex is flooded with unusable data.

Stunning Effect: Most opponents experience nausea, dizziness, loss of balance, and temporary "processing paralysis." It's a non-lethal but incredibly effective area-denial and crowd-control tool.

Vulnerability: Opponents must close their eyes or use non-visual senses (hearing, touch, vibration) to fight effectively near the barrier.

Energy Negation: The barrier's high-energy state disrupts and disperses incoming energy/forces below its output level. This means:

It could stop explosions, energy beams, kinetic impacts, and even certain molecular vibration attacks (like Shoto's ice).

It would be vulnerable to forces that match or exceed its energy output. A supremely powerful, concentrated attack (e.g., a 100% Smash from All Might or a focused blast from Deku) could shatter it.
