Is this place botted?

I feel like a lot of the posts and comments here are either promoting a product, or constantly posting from the same five media companies. Some of them straight up are media company accounts. I worry that most of the discussions here are just arguing with ad bots or bots designed to stir up fear, uncertainty and doubt (to borrow a term from certain investing groups).
