Ok bromos, hit me

advice/question 🎱

Finally getting into the nitty gritty of moving out. We are unmarried, have no “parenting plan”, haven’t squared away who pays what, have been living together and contributing as needed up until now. (His house he bought, I don’t pay rent but buy the groceries/toiletries, anything my kid has needed & streaming services which are now canceled.)

I’m single (obv), definitely living by the penny & am trying to figure out how I am going to afford rent. Im sure ill save $ on food with one less mouth but what helps single moms out?

I will apply for medicaid (I’m paying 315 out of pocket rn) and snap benefits (don’t think I’ll qualify, their income measurements are still so far off), I’ll be looking on marketplace for free and cheap and maybe just sleeping on my couch furniture wise.

What else is out there to help mamas out? Am I screwing myself not going to court to have them determine what we need to contribute for my daughter? We wanna be friendly and stress-less about this whole thing for our kid. Its been a slow process.
