when do people for their shoots?

it’s our first so we’re wanting to do it big. i’m 6 weeks today and we already know a photographer we want to use. my questions is, when do most people do announcement photos, gender reveal, and then maternity shoots?

i was thinking of schedule my announcement after 12 weeks but then in my head i’m like “well i’ll already know the gender then too?” so wth? lol if you guys did these 3 shoots, when did you do them? or any advice in general for this topic would be great!
