any fix to sticking switches?

i just picked up an open box - new apex pro gen 3. the keyboard seems awesome so far, so im hesitant to return it (and i cant claim warranty since its an open box).

but ive got 1 key that requires full force to register a keypress (keypad num 7). im not sure if theres physical damage, or a faulty switch, or if i could just spray some contact cleaner down there to clean it up?

im willing to look into any non destructive options before i file for a return.
