Personal experiences with Adam Sandler - December 2025

Just watched the David Letterman interview with Adam Sandler and really enjoyed it. He seems like such a grounded/down-to-earth guy. My girlfriend grew up in CA and worked as hostess at a popular restaurant on the coast. There was an insane wait for a table and she hung out with him (in 2002/2003) for about an hour and a half, and says it was the most genuinely warming experience she's ever had with a celebrity. Do any of you have a similar story about humble interactions with him or experiences related to his generosity over the years?
