Money bowl question I can't find the answer to.
Maybe I skimmed past it, maybe it was right there and being my oblivious self, I missed it. Here we go.
I have roaches, so I don't feel like using food items would be good for a money bowl. What other items could I use? I have a little bit of coinage from other countries, I collect wheat pennies, stones and such. I see a lot of others mentioning rice. I would like to try a money bowl to hopefully help us get out of some debt. I have been trying to get rid of the roaches, but out of 5 people living here (my husband and 3 sons), I am the only one who cleans. I have to lose my every loving mind to get anything done, but every time I get one room cleaned up, I end up sick and fighting something off, just for my house to turn to hell again. My eldest tries to help, but he is 17, and doesn't do as much as needed. My two younger ones, I have to stay on top of to get anything done. My husband will do laundry or dishes. When it comes to cleaning, going through the kids clothes, sorting through toys, or just moving furniture and cleaning under it, it all falls on me. My eldest does try to help more with outside chores. I need to get some bills straightened out. Then I won't feel so guilty if I take some unpaid time to get my house in order. Sorry for the rant I just added to this.
