Libre on Harmony OS?
Harmony OS has over 900 million devices (Update: Over 900 mln devices operate with Huawei's HarmonyOS-Xinhua) and runs on devices of all sizes.
There is an article written in 2021. Harmony OS is in its 6th version. Back in 5th, which was named Harmony Next, it was promoted as having no line of Android code. I read somewhere that OS 3, 4 are pretty much AOSP based, so no need to be concerned if they are a new OS or a fork. OS 5, on the other hand, has a microkernal, which is in contrast to the macrokernel that Linux uses. In that case, it seems very certain it's no longer Linux-based, not to mention Android.
"The Document Foundation has limited resources and focuses on the desktop LibreOffice application." Not sure "desktop" here means excluding the laptop. Huawei laptop runs their own HiSilicon Kirin, ARM-based chip. While they do have their desktop products (Huawei’s Qingyun W515y and W585y desktops signal China’s next step toward total independence from Western chips and systems | TechRadar), they run on Linux.
Being in China, I have had a chance to play around the OS and have found it pretty good.
