Season 5 Cave Theory

My unhinged theory is that Henry doesn't actually care about the cave. I think he was terrified of Will. Maybe time moves differently in the real world vs the memory world. Max's consciousness and her body are doing two different things, so maybe Vecna is too.The time between them leaving the hospital and Will killing the demogorgons is happening while Max is being chased in the memory world. He freezes at the same time Will freezes the Demogorgons, so he's standing there like "oh shit." Kind Henry/Mr Whatsit is something completely separate that gets taken over by Vecna/Evil Henry.
