Types of ballroom functions

Can someone enlighten me on the differences between different ballroom functions. Vogue nights, major balls, kiki balls, kiki lounges, house practices, and if i’m missing any others.

I wanna know who are typically the judges for these events and how many? As well as how strict they should be with judging and the effects? I’m playing around with the idea of hosting a Kiki Lounge in my scene but I don’t exactly know what that is supposed to be.
