christmas gift controller recommendations

my boyfriend wants a new controller for christmas and i’m not sure which brands/models are the best. i’ve tried to research but i figured id ask here before i just randomly choose one of the few brands ive heard about.

he wants:

• wired
• 4 paddles on the back
• $150 budget

he mostly plays shooting games like battlefield, fortnite, cod, etc. if that means anything. his current controller has stick drift and the grippy sides are coming up, so something sturdy and reliable would be great.

any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
