When is enough, enough? My husband had gastobypass surgery, and slowly but surely since, alcohol has become a real issue. Matters got worse a year ago when he lost his job and we had to move back to be closer around family. Tgat added fuel to the drinking and is still unemployed.
Today, after we said we would both go sober for December, I find him in his office, intoxicated, on his ReFrame group meeting. He was crying and clearly intoxicated. I took him to bed at 6pm and he passed out.
Hes done this multiple times, we have had the talk multiple times, I've seaked rehab facilities but with him out of a job and no insurance, it makes it impossible. I've threatened to take the car we have, thats a lease, that I pay for with my job, back to the dealership as its enabling him to go get alcohol behind my back.
His family is no help, they are major triggers for him, and I feel I can never leave him alone.
So, when is enough, enough? When do I stop talking and wait for him to finally get his shit together. I just cant juggle a job, babysitting him, taking care of my house, my dogs, all the while dealing with this?
