Saving all CGM data in Zukka seems to be ideal or nearly ideal

Earlier I proposed a method to save all CGM data in Zukka. In this method, the full 90-day, minute-by-minute glucose level as well as insulin usage and amount of carbs are saved for future re-examination. This method seems to be ideal for the following reasons:

  1. The user has access to Zukka’s data – all of Zukka’s data are located in its folder and accessible by the user.

  2. No privacy concern

The data is stored on iPhone, known for protecting users’ privacy.

  1. Saved data is backed up to iCloud through the iPhone daily backups.

  2. The saved glucose data consumes very little iPhone storage memory: the total size of my saved 90-day files is about 30MB per 90 days, or 120MB per year.

  3. All saved data can be moved to a Mac or an external drive. Thus, it should consume very little of the iPhone storage memory.
