Why has Christina Ricci never talked about the character Laurel?

Guys, I've been thinking and I realized something: why has Christina Ricci never talked about the character Laurel? OK. Possibly she wasn't asked about it, but I find it strange that there haven't been any interviews with her. I would love to know more, because that way we could all better understand her abusive relationship with Tyler and exactly how she got to him. There are so many things that haven't been said or shown. We know very little. Do you think that at some point in the future of the series we will have answers to some of our questions? Will we have flashbacks? What do you think?
