First foster love
How do you know what the right choice is🥲 it’s our first time fostering and we absolutely fell in love with him. He’s a 10 month old rescue from Mexico and is just the sweetest boy ever. He’s only been with us 5 days and he’s already improved so much and grown attached to us. Everyone in our lives is encouraging us to adopt BUT I’m struggling with the unintentional guilt from that. We chose to foster because we love dogs but can’t afford our own right now. We still want to do long trips and don’t want to leave our dog with family for possibly a few months at a time. Arguably, we would make the money work, and we would always put the dog first of course. How do you handle giving your first foster up for adoption?
