Kenshi campaign ideas

I’m getting ready to start a new Kenshi campaign and wanted to hear some ideas or feedback.

I’m torn between doing a modded Hiver playthrough or going all-in on a revenge storyline:

Idea: Play as a Greenlander who was abandoned by their Holy Nation parents and left for dead on the edge of undead Hiver territory. You survive, get taken in by the undead Hivers, and eventually rise to lead them. Over time you build an undead Hiver army and set out to wipe the Holy Nation off the map.

If I go with this route, what mods would you recommend to flesh out the undead Hiver vibe, worldbuilding, factions, or difficulty?

Any thoughts, ideas, or must-have mods for a run like this?
