Am I rejected or is HR just slow? Need advice.
I interviewed for a role at a big bank recently. There were only a couple spots available, and someone I know who interviewed with me already got an offer. Another person from the same process got an official rejection.
I haven’t heard anything.
No offer. No rejection. Just silence.
I also thought someone else got the final spot, but now I’m not even sure they were in the same location/role as me, so I don’t actually know if both spots are taken or not.
Is this normal? Do banks send decisions in waves? Do they keep people as backups? Or am I just holding onto false hope at this point?
Any insight from people who’ve gone through this would really help.
