Please tell me they’ll make a season 3 some how.

I have read the manga already but I know the light novel continues the story, is there a possibility MAPPA can continue the story even without the manga by just referring to the light novel?

This anime has really been one of my favorites and I’d hate to see it end on 2 seasons only.
