[Fit Check] Maidenform DreamWire Demi T-Shirt Bra 38DD
Still not there, obviously but hoping to get some guidance on "what's wrong with this picture".
I went with a demi for this try in hopes of getting less gapping but no luck, obviously. The band is reasonably comfortable (I can get it done up!) but I'm still getting WAY too much underarm interference. I tried to give it a chance today and was just miserable all day at work - particularly due to the bra, as opposed to every other thing!
I'm trying to understand the shape aspect as well as the sizing. I think part of the underarm misery is that my shape is spreading outward/wide base (and sorry I don't know the terminology, but a lot of the visual aid links no longer work so I'm trying to figure out which description seems to fit the bill). Would a front-closure help reduce/eliminate this by pulling me more "front and centre"?
Someone here recommended a Freya model which I have on order, but trying to get a few more lined up to try and getting pretty fed up with the Amazon buy-return-repeat dance. It was so much better when you could go to an actual shop but those no longer exist 😒
