Shes not taking the dog birth seriously at ALL!!
This is being said out of genuine concern for her dogs, especially the one who is now past her due date. When a dog is this close to giving birth, she must be in a quiet, stress-free space where she feels safe enough to nest. As long as she’s not in a proper whelping/birthing area – and is still sleeping on beds, couches, or around other dogs – she’s at risk of becoming stressed and delaying labour. That can be dangerous for both her and the puppies.
At this stage, the dogs should have been separated weeks ago, and they need to remain separated for several weeks after the puppies are born. Right now the priority is simply making sure the pregnant dog is calm, comfortable, and settled somewhere quiet so she can finally give birth safely.
This isn’t about drama. It’s about making sure those dogs are okay.
