is it true that smaller or prestigious colleges generally only accept 1 person from your school? (i’m so sorry if this is stupid)

hii! I know this is probably dumb to ask, but I wanted to ask if colleges, especially prestigious or smaller schools, only tend to accept one person from a school?

a couple of people from my school applied to one of my top schools, one of the seven sister colleges, and i’m so anxious.

is it true that they’ll probably only accept one of us? thank you.
