How do you handle all the fireworks?

I've been in the area for a bit now and I've never heard so many fireworks in my life. They sound like bombshells going off and they're year-round. They startle my pets and it makes it really difficult to relax in my home.

How do all of you handle it? These people are our neighbors. Do any of you confront them over their incessant fireworks?
