Hello Hearthstone community!

I’m a returning player after a very long break — the last time I played seriously was back in Whispers of the Old Gods, and I was pretty high-ranked back then, so I still remember the game fairly well.

I logged in earlier this year and apparently got a free deck (I honestly don’t even remember which one). 2 days ago I logged in again and received one of those “ready to ladder” decks, and I chose the Aura Paladin one. I also bought the Nature Shaman deck for $20 because I wanted something different to play.

Now the shop is offering me one more deck, and I’m not sure if I should buy it or not.

Since coming back, I’ve noticed there are so many new things in the game. It actually feels fun again. I’ve been checking HSReplay to look at stats and meta shifts, but I’m still a bit overwhelmed.

So I wanted to ask:

• Any good tips for a returning player?
• Are the “ready to play” ladder decks actually good, or should I save my money?
• I’m considering dusting all my Wild cards — is that a good idea nowadays?
• Anything important that I should know about new mechanics, systems, or the current meta?
