Constant fighting/bickering

During my reread (just starting DH) I've been quite frustrated by the constant bickering, especially between Hermione and Ron, honestly half the time, i question why/how they are even still friends. Ron is also a bit more of an asshole in general (compared to movies) not just to her. Even Harry and Hermione seem to bicker more than they should as friends, especially in OOTP and HBP when Harry is a lot more angry, more of the time. Even in HBP Harry does an awful job of caring for Hermione when Ron is flaunting his relationship with Lavender. It just feels like there aren't nearly enough pleasant conversations that display they actually get along. Even Cho gets a rough go from Harry as he does seem to be the least emotionally intelligent individual ever. Am I alone in noticing this?
