Is it normal for a slow burn romance to hit a month of not seeing each other when you’ve only been dating for three months? 30F and 35M

We both have a lot going on over the holidays. He has to take care of his toddler and travel, and I’m traveling a lot too because I’m a prof.

We text every day. He texts good morning every day. We check in and update each other. But I think he sometimes detaches when he’s exhausted from work and dad life. My anxiety spikes at the smallest shift in tone. For example, I asked if he’d sold his car because I want to buy it in January. He just said “no not yet” and then asked about my flight. I was like, why did he not respond to my offer at all.

He’s also been more laid back about flirting or saying he misses me, even though in the beginning he said it a lot.
