Unionbank vs BPI credit card replacement

I lost my wallet so I had to call the banks for card replacements.

1st call BPI. Transaction was okay with the agent but after a few verifications, they asked me to provide letter of request and scanned ID (fron and back) - hindi naman ganito dati, which is very hassle na for me. The call lasted almost 30mins

2nd call Unionbank. I think for card replacements, They need not to hire human agents anymore so everything was done via automatic responder. Lasts for about 5 mins.
