Trying to update a game on the xbox app for windows, but no progress.

As per the name suggests, I am trying to update destiny 2 for the renegades release and it just sits at 0 B/s for 10+ minutes until it gives up. I've tried uninstalling the Xbox app and restarting my computer but nothing works. I'm still looking around for tips but help would be appreciated.
