Unknown Problem?

I’m not really sure how to describe what my problem is because the game loads it boot up but when I try to load my last save it freezes on the screen and just sits there so I tried to start a new game and when I try and do that. I selected difficulty confirm and then the screen is just black. I’ve got a physical disc and I’m gonna reinstall it when I go home, but does anyone else have any suggestions
